Tax Masters Complaints–The Full Story
Internet Complaints
You can find Internet complaints against Tax Masters on several sites out there. We have even seen claims that we are perpetrating a conspiratorial Tax Masters scam, defrauding people out of their hard-earned money and even helping people cheat on their taxes. There’s no two ways about it, we are incredibly successful at what we do and that puts a rather large target on our back. While we do charge for the services we are hired to perform, let me categorically state that Tax Masters is not a scam. We are not a fraud. We do not cheat people. We never help anyone cheat the IRS. If you know what you are doing, it is not necessary to lie or cheat. We know how to solve tax problems without having to resort to fraud, scam, or cheating anyone.
Client Service is Our Focus
At Tax Masters, we are dedicated to providing quality, consistent tax representation services designed to bring clients back into compliance with the IRS, fight the IRS audit or appeal audit findings, assure that you are treated fairly, and, when appropriate, to allow us to negotiate with the IRS the best possible payment options for those we represent.
Tax Masters Client Satisfaction–97% Approval Rating
It might surprise you to know that Tax Masters has a 97% customer satisfaction rating. That means 97 out of every 100 clients we work for are happy with our services. If you work at Tax Masters, you are not surprised by this statistic. But if all you see of this company is what is written about us on complaints boards and ripoff reports, then I can see how this information might not jive with your perception of who we are. While even three unsatisfied clients out of 100 are too many, we are proud of our 97% satisfaction level.
Quality Assurance–A Dedicated Team
At Tax Masters, we have a Quality Assurance team dedicated to make sure we treat our clients fairly and provide quality, consistent services. This team works with and monitors our tax consultants and tax professionals to ensure that clients are properly qualified and that all services purchased are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
If You Have a Complaint, We Want to Help
Our goal is 100% client satisfaction. If you are an existing client and you have a legitimate Tax Masters complaint, please contact your Case Coordinator. If this does not resolve the problem, please ask to speak with a representative of our Quality Assurance team. They are in place to be sure we help our customers properly. As a matter of fact, we encourage you to contact us with concerns and complaints because we use them to stay sharp and to improve our services as we grow.
Why We Don’t Respond To Anonymous Internet Complaints
We do not respond to anonymous Internet posts at Tax Masters. This is for several reasons. One is that we are bound by federal privacy laws as an IRS tax representative and we are bound by our even higher standard of confidentiality of client records. We hold this trust sacred. By law, we are not allowed to discuss any particulars of a client’s case with anyone except the client unless the client gives us permission. In other words, since all we are comfortable doing is making general statements, no rebuttal we supply will be worth much to the complainer or the reader. Another reason we don’t respond to Internet posts is that we’ve discovered that an unreasonable number of the posters are in fact competitors planting false and erroneous information and are not in fact clients at all. Yet another reason we don’t respond is that any response we provide lends weight to the post, accurate or not, and serves as chum for the inevitable feeding frenzy to follow.
If you choose to post on the Internet, that is your decision. However, posting out there instead of contacting us directly doesn’t get you any assistance with your complaint, and more importantly, it doesn’t help you out of the tax trouble you are in. I know it is easier at times to lash out than to confront your tax problems head on, but this sort of activity does not help your situation.
A Final Word on Tax Masters Complaints
I founded this company because I saw a need for our services. I like the service industry because we get to help people out of tough situations. Our clients come from all walks of life, from doctors and lawyers to mechanics, truck drivers, soldiers, school teachers, and retired persons. We have served politicians, medical professionals, school board presidents, oil executives, mail carriers, and preachers. Tax troubles don’t follow one particular segment of the population. The IRS can go after anyone.
In Tax Masters, I created a company that provides equal protection and representation to every one of our clients. If we fail you, we go out of business. I don’t want to be out of business. Quite the opposite, even in this time of economic strain, we are still serving new people everyday. The reason is because we do what we say we will and we win favorable resolutions for our clients with the IRS. If you have tax problems, you need our help. Don’t let fear control you. Contact us and let us help you through this. Tax representation is what we do for a living, all day everyday. Let us share this burden with you. We know the way to the other side and we can guide you.
Until you need us,
Patrick Cox Tax Masters

I understand your desire to steer clear of those Internet boards. Anybody that goes to those things is either looking for trouble or spending way too much time online. I hate you this much, I hate you that much, I scam you like this, I scam you like that, I scam you with a wiffle ball bat. Uh oh. Don’t sweat that stuff, Pat. May I call you Pat, Mr. Patrick cox of Tax Masters?
Peace y’all.

I look at every comment, but am approving only those that contribute to the post. If you want to contact us about your specific case, please call us at (800) 682-3679 and ask for your Case Coordinator. I will not put specific information about your case out on the Internet, so please keep that info out of your comments if you want them published.
Keep in mind that we have redundancy built into our business model, so if your Case Coordinator is not immediately available, there are a number of tax professionals familiar with your case that will be able to answer your questions.
I find myself in a horrific tax situation, and am contemplating recruiting your company to help manage it. I gotta admit – the fact that you have a blog up about all of these complaints I am finding makes me feel more confident in the services you provide. Good show on your part, sir, for getting your company’s side of it out there.
All of that said – do any guarantees exist when one signs up to receive your assistance? I am specifically speaking about the complaints I am reading about. A legally-binding assurance that your company will not indeed “rip me off” would go a long way towards quelling my fears about this process, as I imagine would be the case for quite a few other potential customers.
Thanks!
Josh, we are committed to making sure that we do everything possible to help our clients solve their tax problems. that’s what makes us different from so many of our competitors.
When we agree to perform services on your behalf and receive payment, we are contractually obligated to perform the mutually agreed services. The binding protection for both you (client) and us (service provider) is in the legal agreement we make with you when you choose to purchase services.
From my experience with Taxmasters you are required to pay up front. If you decide that you can not sign the contract or grant power of attorney the amount you paid up front, regardless if any services are rendered, are non-refundable.
I have just signed on with Taxmasters and I am nervous now after reading all of the negative comments that are out there. How can I be sure that my money is going to pay for actual service being done to solve my IRS audit issues for me? I was told that once a month I would get an up-date. Do it actually take that long to finalize a tax audit?
Marion
Marion,
Congratulations on becoming a TaxMasters client. While it may be difficult to look past some of the comments you see on the Internet, I’d invite you to Google just about any national company along with the word complaint and see what comes back. We are contractually obligated by law to perform the services you hired us to perform. While we cannot go into your case specifics online, feel free to call our customer service line at (800) 581-0456 to ask about your case.
Unfortunately, often the IRS is slow to respond, even in fairly simple audit cases. We would hope to resolve every case sooner rather than later, but it doesn’t always happen that way. Stay resolute. TaxMasters will see you through this.
My concern about this entire process is that 5 years ago I joined a company that made a ‘Promise’ that for “X” amount of dollars they could work with creditors and resolve 98%-100% of my problems within 5-6 months. Like your company, they needed money to get started.
They were in business for a few years and claimed to have the loop hole solutions, they had the unique staff who worked in banks, credit card companies, they had staff lawyers, they had every aspect you could imagine covered to eliminate anyone’s credit problems.
If you became a client they offered a $500 referral credited to your account.
Never saw that money and lost quite a few friends and associates.
The old saying goes, “If it sounds to good to be true, then it’s not”.
They knew how to take total advantage of people’s situations that were in need, some in desperate need.
I would call them periodically an request an up to date status report of what was being done. They would call me, send me documents that confimed that they were in the process of dealing with my creditors with their unique staff that were in someway involved in major credit companies at one time and all was moving right along with the process.
They even told me they were going to eliminate/wipe out some bills with creditors.
This is where the ‘Smoke Screen’ takes effect.
They eliminated the stress factor considerably that came with threats.
They handled, alright let me rephrase that, what they actually did was they prolonged the payment process for clients, with the creditors and in time went completely out of business, they actually skipped town with over $177,000,000.00 of people’s money. That’s right ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY SEVEN MILLION DOLLARS. They are all living high on the hog with our money. They knew the laws about how long it would take before the complaints stared against them, they knew where to hide the money they STOLE from clients, they knew how long a civil law suite would take. Seven years before it would get into the courts and how much they would be liable for to each person on the civil suits. They knew it would be pennies on the dollar they would have to pay back. They knew that the interest on the stolen money would pay for the civil suite and they would walk with the rest that was let over, beside what the partners involed split between themselves of the $177,000,000.00. It was all calculated percisely. Meanwhile too bad for the scammed clients.
The debt company’s so called process of eliminating credit debt or negotiating was a ‘SCAM’.
They put me in more debt then I was in from the beginning, and took mine and thousands of customers money. They also destroyed my credit from their actions.
I am still recovering and paying for that.
What concerns me in this situation. You can tell me that Dennis Miller and Bill O’Reilly are references and that they are creditable, yes, they are but the bottom line is you payed them for your endorsement and as long as it doesn’t reflect their creditability they will say what ever you want them to say within their guidelines.
Where is the PROOF?
Let me ask you this, if you were in my shoes and me in yours, would you send me money on a promise? What do I have to secure my investment in you?
I have read everyword on your website entirely and it all sounds too good to be true.
Where is proof of your track record? How do I know that you aren’t going to, especially in this time of economic crisis where people need help, not collect a million clients and deposits and then YOU disappear? I’m looking for some proof of your legitimacy.
Can you provide that for me?
Thanks,
An Inquiring Potential Client
John,
We appreciate your concerns. Please understand that TaxMasters has been in business since 2001 and has goals and a growth plan that take us through the next decade. We have no intention of going anywhere. You see all these TaxMasters complaints on the Internet, but what you don’t see are all the success stories that come across every day here at TaxMasters. We are going to put a lot more of those on the website in the next few days, but let me just list a couple here. Just this week we had a client who had been levied by the IRS for $58,000 in 2008 for a tax debt it turns out he didn’t owe. We proved that by helping him file his past-due returns and got the majority of the money refunded to him by the IRS. Another case from this week, we saved a client over $40,000 through negotiating a settlement with the IRS. There are tons of these success stories. We’ll do better to publish more of those.
Concerning our legitimacy as a solvent company, we have a staff of over 250 people with plans of expanding to over 300 by the end of 2009. The greatest service we provide our clients is getting them back into compliance with the IRS. If you cannot afford to pay your taxes, we can help you with that, too. If you have an audit, we can help. The point is, we contractually engage our clients and we deal with a government entity on behalf of our clients (IRS). I assure you, if we were breaking the law or scamming clients, the Treasury Department would not allow us to conduct business. Patrick Cox of TaxMasters is a Texan. He graduated from Texas A&M University, a tradition-rich, military-historied institution that promotes honesty, respect, and service. Patrick Cox has built this company and is continuing to build it based on those principles. TaxMasters is not going anywhere and we are not skipping town. This is a vibrant, strong company devoted to servicing our clients and getting them the best deals the IRS allows by law. It is the fact that we follow the law that makes us so successful.
One last thing. You ask if I would be willing to pay you if the roles were reversed. If I had the IRS threatening me and I had a tax debt hanging over my head I could not afford to pay, or if I was facing an audit or had a couple years of delinquent tax returns, the answer is yes. The reason is that we know what the IRS can do to a person to collect revenue they think you owe. And I’d much rather bite the bullet and make the financial commitment now to get my problem solved so that I wouldn’t have to deal with the pain of levied wages, levied benefits, levied accounts, and the like. When the IRS takes aggressive collections action, it can be swift, decisive, and financially devastating. I’d rather pay the IRS on my terms than turn over control of my income streams to them.
We hope you make the right decision here. But regardless of the decision you make about using our services, we wish you the best. Great questions. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to respond.
I worked for a Law Enforcement Agency for the US Govt. After reading all these comments and the negative feedback from the on-line community, I still went ahead and took a chance with TAX MASTERS today June 22, 2009. It was either me taking a chance with them or the IRS. Over the phone every one treated me with respect and they were very, very professional. Time will tell the full and true story.
Great to have you aboard, Carlos. Thank you for giving us a shot. We’ll do everything we can by law to help you solve your tax problem the right way.
I just signed up with taxmasters and I am very nervous now since I read all the complaints about your business. Please how can I feel confident that you are really going to work on behalf in resolving my IRS problem? and I’ve being told that will take a max. of 6 months to be resolved it’s that true?
I saw the television ad yesterday (have seen it several times before) and decided to call. First of all, I got a human being almost immediately, which in this day and age is quite rare. Although he had an accent (He was from Zimbabwe I believe)he was very clear spoken and easy to understand. He listened carefully to my problems and indicated that Tax Masters could help (I’m a few years behind in my taxes and have some other more complicated issues caused by H and R Block several years ago)
The bottom line is, that although it’s going to cost me around $2000 for the Tax Master service (about what I would pay a good CPA) they indicated that for that price they will be able to get me back on track with the IRS.
After reading all of the “scam” and other reviews people are blogging, I too became a bit nervous, but in this information age, there will always be people who are dissatisfied, and they are always the ones to post up flames, rarely do you see someone who has had a good experience say so. It’s a shame but the reality. Fingers crossed, Tax Masters will be a big help and I WILL post good feedback everywhere I go and to everyone I know who needs help with their tax problems.

Ana,
First of all, thank you for your business and for your trust. We know you have a choice as to who you hire for tax relief and we are here to make sure the IRS treats you fairly and treats you with respect. Take a look at our client expectations page so you know what to expect in the coming days. While I don’t know the specifics of your case, please make sure you fill out all forms and information we send you and we should be able to get your case processed in the time frame you discussed with your tax consultant. We encourage you to call us or contact us if you have issues or questions. We’ll be glad to discuss your concerns and let you know exactly where you are in the process. As with all our cases, we cannot control how quickly clients return information to us nor how quickly the IRS responds to us, but it is our job to make this process as straightforward as possible.
Dave,
Thanks for recording your experience with us and your concerns. Because you are in the technology industry and are familiar with the web and with customer management, you provide great insight in your comments. Remember that the main goal is always compliance. Make sure you get all forms filled out when we request them and we will walk you through this process, back into compliance with the IRS. You made a great decision yesterday to address this issue before it has a chance to grow larger.
I saw the many complaints, but also heard from others that Tax Masters had done a great job for them. I dealt with Mr. Amos and found him and all the TM folks to be very professional and have given me good advice. I am happy to have TM taking care of me in my dire IRS situation. I have no doubt that if I did have any issues TM would proptly take care of them. Signed Happy Customer!!!! RP
I have hired you to help me with a jam that another tax company got me into. I was promised by your represenative that you would do my state taxes as well as file an extension on my Federal income tax. Here it is April 14th and I have called several times about my state taxes and they have not been done! I have the same exact problem that I have read on the complaint message boards. If this is not resolved I am going to file with my state attorney general and the Texas state attorney general. You are giving me the same run around and bad service the others have complained of. I will not hesitate to call CNN as well. NOT HAPPY!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Steve. I spoke with the Director of Tax here at TaxMasters. He left you a voice mail message and will discuss the situation with you when you speak. Because we value your privacy, we did not want to discuss any specifics in this public forum. Again, thank you for reaching out to us on a venue where we can help.
Best,
TaxMasters
I will be calling TaxMasters soon for help on some tax issues I have. My research makes me confident this organization is top notch. Tax problems cannot be handled with a magic wand (unless your Timothy Geithner).
Tell me, when you do research on any company using only the scam and ripoff links you find on the web, how many positive comments do you find? None. Let’s face it, those sites are the real scams, frauds, and ripoffs. The web has become a totally unreliable source for factual information about companies. Real answers can be found beyond the hate boards that litter the net.
Because I’m paid on 1099′s, the government considers me to be “Self Employed”. Ok…I’ll abide by that, even though it’s argumentable at best. The problem is that tax returns become considerably more complicated, and when work/business is good…one doesn’t have time to do paperwork, and when business is horrible, one spends a great deal of time seeking more work that will pay the bills and feed the family. Long story short, I’ve been notified by the IRS that I haven’t done taxes for 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2008 (I managed to do 2009 even though I’m not sure I was able to maximize my deductions). I have been anticipating this “day of reckoning” for some time, and each year have purchased the appropriate tax software”. Stress factor now a 15, on a scale of 1 – 10.
I called the toll free number on the IRS Pending Levy notice, and spoke to someone who sounded like Morgan Freeman. He told me that they had me owning over $75,000 in back taxes…and then said something I didn’t catch right away. While his words stated that I had until July 18th to complete all of my past tax returns, and if I didn’t…the IRS would complete them for me, and would not use married, filing joint, nor would they use any schedule C, the hidden message in that statement was “look Steve…you know, and I know that as a self employed contractor, there are business expenses you can use to lower your ‘net income’ to a more realistic figure, thereby reducing your tax liability”.
Well, sweating, panicking…sometimes screaming in rage from a lack of understanding, I did my best to get through each year, and am proud to say I completed the taxes within the deadine. Don’t think that’s no big deal…I’m an idiot when it comes to something that appears to change it’s rules as often as the tide!
In about 4 – 6 weeks, I’ll find out if I did them correctly. My biggest fear is they’ll come back and tell me that none of my deductions are allowable, as they weren’t incurred while it was raining in Omaha, NE on that day, as clearly defined on pub 2228c, 3030u, 3934d and 222xy, referring to forms 2083, 2202, 4083, 3907, and of courst the dreaded 9933!
Bottom line…if they don’t agree with my figures, I’m going to need BIG time help, because the expenses I incurred are real, but it is possible I just plugged them into the wrong field. I honestly gave it my best effort.
Hello, Steve.
The uncertainty you speak of is exactly why we recommend you hire a representative to help you prepare all back tax returns. We keep up with the changes in tax law from year to year and make sure tax prep is impeccable. Because you have already handled your own returns and submitted them, we can’t help with that particular piece any longer. If your expenses appear out of line with your income, watch out. Just be sure you hang on to all your receipts, mileage charts, and other documentation.
And if you get selected for an audit, please call us immediately. In the future, it might be a good idea for you to consider using a CPA to prepare your taxes every year. That helps make sure you file and it cuts down on likelihood of an audit. The IRS considers tax returns completed using software packages self prepared returns. Self-prepared returns are more likely to be audited than those prepared by a reputable CPA.
All the best.
Thanks for getting back to me in this post. I understand what you’re saying regarding getting a CPA, but I’m a little gun-shy in that area. I actually DID hire a CPA for some previous years, only I got tired of the arrogance and condescending treatment, to be topped off with a letter (and a check) from the IRS giving me a refund, due to errors done on a particular year tax return he prepared. It was to my benefit, true…but just as easily have been the other way around.
As I understand it, CPA’s are required to pass certain competency test to assure their qualifications to do taxes, so I really didn’t expect all of the screw ups…especially after being charged $1,700 for each of the two years he did!
Now, we’re barely surviving in this depressed economy, and I’m still labeled as “self employed”. Although I’m certainly grateful to be working; I’m just barely making ends meet.
I’m aware that there’s all kinds of tax returns being turned in that are using all kinds of ridiculous tax shelters, and effectively scamming the government out of a fair share.
I may be idealistic naive, but I can’t believe that an honest person, trying their hardest to comply, would be targeted for financial annihilation by the IRS, even if they have made an honest mistake due to not understanding a particular tax code.
I think I prefer to have more faith in my country, and believe that they’re really more concerned going after the scammers that are making millions of dollars, while paying only hundreds.
I’ll let you know how my own efforts go.
I am very sure that Tax Masters is NOT a scam, and is a legitimate business helping people. Unfortunately, what they help people do is to NOT pay taxes that they actually owe. That means that the rest of us are still picking up the tab for what Tax Masters helps them weasel out of.
Thanks for your comment, John. It’s important to understand that we are not trying to help people avoid paying taxes. Rather, what we are doing is helping people repay what they can afford. The $300 billion annual tax gap estimated by the IRS does not even include the tax debts of most of our clients. That’s money the IRS thinks should be paid in taxes but that is not being reported or claimed. They simply can’t find it. At least with our clients, the IRS is after the taxpayer to pay. So the taxpayer comes to us to make sure they are treated fairly and treated with respect while they figure out how to pay what they owe. We are not like a debt settlement company where we are settling for pennies on the dollar, rather we help clients who are in over their heads to the IRS work through the repayment process.
Best to you. Have a great 2011!
Please comfirm receipt asap
Thank you for your comment, Monica. We have forwarded your message to the Quality Assurance department. As with all cases, we take your comments very seriously and will follow up to ensure that they are routed to the proper personnel. Thank you for including enough detail in your original message for our Quality Assurance personnel to be able to properly identify you in our system.
I am writing to let you know that I am upset with tax masters because I paid you to take care of my tax problem and all that happened is that you toke my money and didn’t help me on my problem. When I hired you I just had a start of a problem now my credit is shot and the IRS has been garnishing my social security and military retirement pay so I have very little to live on.A little help on this would be appreciated.
Mr. Campbell,
We are so glad you contacted us. We have had a hard time getting in touch with you. We will try to reach you again using the contact information we have on file. If your contact information has changed, please call us toll free at (800) 581-0456 so we can move your case forward. We have completed your tax returns and need to speak with you to complete the remaining services you purchased.
I just wanted to say I just saw the piece on ABC News about your services being a scam. If you guys are pulling a scam, I hope it is resolved soon and you have to pay everyone back. Bernie Madoff anyone?!?
Jay,
Thanks for your comments. TaxMasters operates under federal law and the federal tax code. We state strongly that we are not a scam and we have over 300 employees working very hard to help taxpayers regain compliance with the IRS and work out payment plans with the IRS they can afford. Unfortunately, too many people–consumers and the media in particular–focus on tax debt. Tax debt is the symptom, non-compliance with IRS requirements to file and make timely payments is the sickness. At TaxMasters, we focus on curing the disease, then on discussing the symptom of debt.
Thanks for opportunity to discuss this. If you see other tax resolution companies discussing savings or settling tax debt for pennies on the dollar, be wary. Very few people will qualify for tax settlements.
Best!
Mr. Cox,
I just hired your firm this week to assist me with my tax issues. Then a co-worker called to alert me to the “expose” in the news. I am responsibly alarmed as I cannot afford to be wrong here. I am extremely concerned that I will end up in a wage garnishment situation and not know until payday when my direct deposit does not register, and you still want to deduct your fees. I have to admit, I am very very nervous now. But, I am one to make up my own mind and not let someone else’s opinions become my prejudice. I will maintain my course at present, until I have reason not to.
Regards,
LK
Hello Lee.
I don’t know the specifics of your situation or what services you purchased from TaxMasters. If you waited to engage us until after you received a Final Notice of Intent to Levy and Notice of Your Right to a Hearing, it is likely too late to stop the initial collections actions that notice triggers at the IRS. Regardless of that fact, please understand that this is only the beginning of the collections activity. As harsh as a wage garnishment can be, it is going to happen repeatedly until you are back in compliance with all filings and working through us with the IRS to negotiate a payment plan. If you have any questions about this process or how it works, please call us toll free at (800) 581-0456. It is tax day, so be aware there may be a bit of a wait today.
The link above shows reasonable concern. The Texas State Attorney General is suing you. What’s your rebuttal on this?
We will not comment on ongoing litigation other than to say we continue to cooperate with the state AG’s office in hopes of reaching a resolution. Concerning the ABC News story:
TaxMasters has more than 300 dedicated hardworking employees who have served more than 50,000 clients over the years. The fact remains that while the process may take time, the taxpayers that work with us through the compliance and settlement process are very likely to resolve their IRS tax problems at a very reasonable cost for professional services they need.
While we are successful at returning our clients to compliance and representing them in their IRS problems, we – like any other company – are constantly striving to improve as we continue to grow. It’s what we have learned from this growth process that makes us a highly successful IRS tax representation firm. At TaxMasters, that means evaluating how our employees including our sales team interact with potential clients, creating a new business model that allows clients more flexibility in their contract and guaranteeing our negotiated-settlement clients that if we do not settle their debt with the IRS, they are not charged for that service.
It is not surprising that ABC News dug through the tens of thousands of taxpayers we have spoken with over the years and found a few individuals willing to complain. While we will not comment on former clients who may still be in tax trouble and vulnerable to an IRS investigation, the fact remains that these complaints are not a fair representation of TaxMasters’ client base or business practice, which prides itself on honest customer service, a transparent process with our customer, and seeking fair treatment from the IRS.
Hello Mr. Cox, I just recently hired your firm to help with my IRS Issues. I have been hearing about the attorney general investigation. I do understand about disgruntled clients which leads to investigations…etc. I took a leap of faith, as I have seen your commercials for years. I guess I would like some reassurance that your firm will continue to work hard and diligently for me while all this distraction and bad publicity is happening.
Thank you for your time
Thanks for your comment, Jennifer. I am not aware of your specific situation, but there are some generallaties that apply to the majority of TaxMasters clients. There are over 300 employees here at TaxMasters working in tandem to offer effective IRS representation. We have built this organization on the experience of helping tens of thousands of clients. If you stick with us and participate in the process, we will make sure you are back in compliance with the IRS and that you have a clear understanding of what repayment options you qualify for. This is not always an easy process or one that goes as quickly as we wish. But we will continue to work with the IRS with your best interests in mind. Thank you for voicing your opinion here. And thank you for being a TaxMasters client.
Your 1-800-581-0456 number has been disconnected or is no longer in service. I tried the 1-281-497-5937 is in service, but nobody answers.
Hi, Paul. Thanks for reaching out to us. I have just checked the lines to make sure they are functioning. Perhaps you are having some sort of issue locally with your phone system. I apologize for any inconvenience. Please call us using the Customer Service line (800) 581-0456 if you are an existing customer.
Thank you for your business!
Although I had problems getting through on the 1 800 581-0456 line — and I think Tax Masters could respond via e-mail more quickly — I have just recieved my returns : )). It looks like Tax Masters did a fine job.
Tomorrow I’ll take those to the IRS office and get back in compliance, with a net return of about $1500 — WOO HOO!
I think it is debauchery to to put your
fragrantly abusive flying commericials
between breaks right before SS etc. was
being voted for in Congress and Senate.
It is sickening to see this kind of commercial
“usary” in this flagrant way while financially
challenged people are already so frightened.
