Jay Leno Vs. Bret Baier

Well after seeing the original spoof of the TaxMasters commercial with Patrick Cox over on NBC, we were even more surprised to see Bret Baier featuring the skit as part of the Special Report on the Fox News Channel.

For those of you who are really paying attention, you can see the spoof on the replay of Special Report with Bret Baier early tomorrow morning. Special Report airs again at 2 am EDT and 3 am CDT Tuesday, April 20.

A bit after tax season, perhaps. But while April 16 may be a day of relief for those who filed their taxes on time, the IRS is just getting cracking.

I have contacted you in the past and have had numerous agents from your firm trying to contact me… Makes me think that it just goes out to whoever wants to chase me down… I need a legitimate person from TaxMasters the call me @ [REDACTED] because I have a serious Tax Matter that is threatening to ruin me… I do not know what they say I owe… I got F’d on the audit and screwed on the Appeal… don’t know if Tax Court is an option… But the IRS insisting that owe $300K from Tax years 2004 through 2007 is insane. They drug this out forever and now want to pin the taxes, penalties and fines on me… I stand to loose everyhthing and my wife and are Governement employees… she is DOD School Teacher and I am a Retired Army Officer with 22 Years Active Duty, 9 years in the Army Reserves, 15 Years in DOD Goverment Contracting and 1.3 Years now as a Department of the Army Civilian GS-13 Psychologist as the current Clinical Co-Chief of Adult Behavioral Health @ Ft. Campbell, KY. There is no way that we owe this much money and I believe that the Appeal was not even looked at and there Proposed Returns were the only thing considered since we filed late. Please help or we will loose everything. Tonhy.

    Dr. Frankiln,

Thanks for your message. I have passed it on to our capable sales staff. As we’ve stated to you in the past, until you commit to purchase the services you need, we cannot help you. I am afraid you have waited too long to avoid what you describe as a “serious tax matter.” When taxpayers wait too long to address their tax problem, no one can stop aggressive IRS collections actions. I will have someone contact you at the number you left in your comment, which we redacted to protect your privacy. I wish the best for you and for your family. Thank you for your service to our country. We’d be honored to have you as a client. I hope it’s not too late to suspend whatever collections actions you are facing from the IRS.
